Ceramic Coating Holder
We worked closely with Joe from the initial design and conceptualization phase to solve a frustrating problem he faced—his ceramic car coating bottles were constantly being knocked over and smashing during use. Our solution? A custom-designed holder with interchangeable spacers to snugly secure bottles of different sizes. To prevent further accidents, we crafted the holder with a wide, stable base, making it far less likely to tip over. Additionally, we incorporated a removable magnetic tray into the base to easily catch and manage any spills, while also simplifying the insertion and removal of the spacers. This thoughtful design not only solved Joe's issue but made his workspace safer and more efficient.

3D Printed Visors for the NHS
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Print3DX stepped up to support frontline NHS workers by producing Prusa Mk4 visors for critical protective gear. Fueled by the generosity of our community through a GoFundMe campaign, we raised over £1,500, enabling us to manufacture more than 800 visors. While many were donated to local NHS trusts, some even made their way to Great Ormond Street Hospital. This project highlighted the incredible impact of additive manufacturing, showcasing how quickly 3D printing can be mobilized for life-saving purposes. It was a powerful reminder of how technology and community spirit can come together to make a real difference.

Looprop Propellor
A final-year university student reached out to us, needing part of his project 3D printed for a proof of concept. Excited to take on the challenge, we saw this as a perfect opportunity to push the capabilities of our Bambu P1P printer—especially with tricky elements like thin walls and steep gradients, which are notoriously difficult with FDM technology. Despite these challenges, the propellers were printed flawlessly, with minimal line distortion. Impressed with the results, the student has since returned to Print3DX multiple times for other project components. Our commitment to consistent, high-quality results keeps clients coming back, and we take pride in delivering the level of precision and service they deserve.
